As an adult choosing to participate in the Sacrament of Baptism, you are making a conscious choice to follow the model of Jesus’ life and teachings.

 

We practice baptism by immersion under water the way Jesus was baptized.  This method of baptism reflects the death and resurrection of Jesus.  -For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ. - Colossians 2:12 

 

We rejoice with you that you have come to this important turning point in your life.  Jesus taught us by thought, word and deed what his followers would be challenged to emulate.

 

Baptism at its most meaningful is a deep spiritual commitment to answer this challenge in your everyday life. We congratulate you for considering this important and joyful step on your spiritual journey.

 

A Minister will meet with you to answer your questions and aid in your preparations.

As part of its ministry, New Beginning is committed to accommodating those who sincerely wish to be married at our church.

 

We offer our church and staff for weddings of both members and non-members.

 

New Beginning Deliverance Ministries,  proudly ordains both men and women to the ministry and the church’s ministerial staff includes both.

 

Members may select their preferred minister. For non-member wedding ceremonies, the church will select the officiating minister.

 

The officiating minister is responsible for and has authority over the arrangements and services. A ceremony date is confirmed after the couple meets with the minister for their required premarital counseling.

 

New Beginning does not have a reception hall available.

The joy of having a child welcomed into your family is a wondrous event. The happiness that you experience in becoming parents of a new life in the world is so exciting.

 

We appreciate that you recognize the value of baptism of your child and we are pleased to be of assistance to you in this endeavor.

 

There are two commitments requested of the parents. They include your choice to raise your child as a Christian and your obligation to provide ongoing love, support and wise guidance to your child.

 

If you choose to have Godparents, they need not be those whom you would choose to have as legal guardians.

 

Further discussion of the service and any theological questions you may have will be addressed in your conference with the Minister performing the ceremony.

Each individual and family brings very particular needs and expectations to any time of loss. One size definitely does not fit all and we at New Beginning are dedicated to a personal response.

 

When the death of a church member occurs, we work with the family to arrange a Memorial Service if one is desired.

 

When the death is of a non-member, then we will also seek to respond with faith and compassion.

 

Non-member Memorial Services are scheduled on Tuesday-Thursday in the late morning or early afternoon.

 

We ask that families arranging for non-member Memorial Services help New Beginning meet the costs of the service.
